the task
A company had been collecting data on phone calls for years, but they never knew what to do with the data. An idea was sparked by the CEO and the VP of Sales to build a report that analyzed the data and put it into a format that we could sell to our clients, but still, no one knew what the data should do or how it should be used.
The product/project/idea was put on my plate. After weeks of discovery, stakeholder interviews, and SQL queries trying to dig into the data, I felt like I understood how we could use this to make something cool.

As of November 2024, the tool has been a phenomenal success. We began to double our monthly revenue targets in May, and we are still performing at the rate in November!
I still think there is much to do for the tool. There are many problems that need to be solved that would enable recruiters and managers to have an easier and more enjoyable workflow.
